Take a day trip to Omiya, a cultural and sylvan city near Tokyo. All men and woman are welcome! 

We are in Omiya, next to Tokyo city. Omiya is an attractive city and has one of oldest shrine in Japan; The Hikawa Shrine. The city is also famous for Bonsai, the art of Japanese gardening so visiting Omiya and walking here in Kimono would be great experience! After the tour, we will provide a Japanese traditional tea ceremony.( In front of Bonsai airtist house)


What are included.

Type A
All inclusive Kimono rental with dressing, a free guided tour and a tea ceremony 8000yen

Type B (only for woman)
All inclusive Kimono rental and can keep only the kimono with dressing, a free guided tour and a tea ceremony 12000yen

(getting dressing)
* Kimonos for women are available size, height up to 175cm, hip measurements 100cm ; Kimono for men have limited size but you can still enjoy height ans hip size are not so important for men.

*Requested to book 3 days prior and minimum 2 people with information of your staying place, address, phone-No.

*If you pay the fee in advance by pay pal, type A would be 7000yen and type B would be 10000yen.

Hi Kahori
I lived in Japan for 2 years. I think kimonos are beautiful and I bought one in Yokosuka. I also went to classes to learn how to wear it. I am sorry to hear that kimono is a dying art in Japan. Few things are more beautiful than a Japanese woman in a kimono.

Hi Kahori,

I'll be visiting Japan end June till early July. I'd love to sign up for the 1 day omiya guided tour in kimono. but i cant find the website related to it. I'll be staying in Asakusa.

Please provide me with more information on the tour and also the course. I'll be coming with my family of 4- 2 adults and 2 children under 5yrs. Please mail me... arigato!
